Latest hot prospect start-ups unveiled
SCI-TECH Daresbury has unveiled its latest crop of hot prospect start-ups as part of its Future Club business incubator scheme.
The programme provides technical and networking support to five handpicked fledgling firms to turbo-charge their aspirations for success.
A Sci-Tech spokesman said this year’s ventures were chosen in recognition of their “significant business potential” to develop products and services to meet “technological, environmental and social needs”.
The companies picked for the Future Club class of 2022 are:
● Liverpool-based personal identifiable information (PII) safeguard start-up PIIstor.
● Healthy lifestyle app and web developer Lyfe.
● Digital audience calculator Metricomm.
● Workplace air quality filtration firm Vitaerium.
● Advanced agricultural materials developer Ampode.
John Downes, chief executive of joint venture partner Langtree and Sci-Tech Daresbury chairman, said: “The Future Club is designed to give the most exciting start-ups and entrepreneurs in the North West the support they need in order to take their businesses to the next level.
