IT’S A SENSIBLE MOVE

-

THE proposal advocated by Brian Silvester to mitigate rising energy costs by scrapping VAT on energy and scrapping all green taxes on our fuel is a sensible one.

Personally, I think our government should endorse it.

Proponents of green energy taxes should take a closer look at the virtue signalling of high profile advocates of global warming and not be so green!

For example, we are told that global warming will lead to higher sea levels and the erosion and flooding of coastal areas. If this is true, then why have Al Gore, Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi each spent millions of US dollars on beachfront mansions? It doesn’t make sense!

In December 2019, people turned their backs on Socialism in record numbers and voted for a Conservative government that pledged to get Brexit done. We were all duped!

By Christmas 2019, Johnson had betrayed the nation with a Brexit deal that meant we left the EU in name only.

Once the ‘plandemic’ struck, Johnson followed the European Union and adopted their system of totalitarian State control and Socialism.

He shutdown the economically productive private sector and revered the stagnant, tax consuming, public sector. Taxing and spending like an ardent Socialist, wrecking our economy. That is why we are in an economic mess today.

After just two years of Johnson, it is as though were now back to 2010, picking up the pieces after yet another disastrous Labour government.

Our country is profoundly Conservative, but our elected politicians are akin to Marxism. I wonder if it is all controlled? Robert Parker
