Van blaze may have been due to arson
FIRE investigators believe a blaze involving a van in Runcorn might have been caused deliberately.
One appliance was called to Okell Street at 4.47pm on Sunday, April 17.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said the van was “well alight”.
The crew donned breathing apparatus before using a hose jet to extinguish the flames.
A cordon was in set up for while the fire was dealt with.
Arson was considered a possible cause.
A CFRS spokesperson said: “Cheshire police were requested to attend as it appeared that the van may have been set on fire deliberately.”
