LATEST planning applicatio­ns submitted to Halton Borough Council include:

● Applicatio­n to discharge condition Nos five (materials), six (hard and soft landscapin­g), seven (boundary treatments), 12 (affordable housing), 16 (levels) of planning permission 18/00516/ OUT at Hallwood Raven, Eagles Way, Runcorn.

● Proposed alteration­s to yard and building envelope, inclusion of operations hub and sheltered loading areas along with associated mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure client functional­ity at Borax UK, Gorsey Lane, Widnes.

● Applicatio­n for a certificat­e of proposed lawful developmen­t for conversion of existing double garage in to an office and storage space together with new drainage and internal alteration­s at 10 Wharford Lane, Runcorn.

● Proposed two storey side extension at 87 Henderson Road, Widnes. ● Proposed single storey side extension at 43 Morval Crescent, Runcorn.

● Proposed creation of vehicle parking area from original bus parking area at Caldwell Road, Widnes. ● Proposed works to trees within TPOs 006 and 052 as follows: T2 - Oak - remove deadwood over 50mm diameter to reduce risk of failure and for good management. The two low limbs over the road should be removed back to the main stem to maintain statutory clearance and remove the risk of failure, T3 - sycamore - The damaged/ decaying limb should be reduced by up to 4m height back into the tree and to an appropriat­e pruning point, to remove the chance of failure. The limbs which are encroachin­g the streetlamp should be pruned back to give up to 2m clearance from the structure, T4 - sycamore - needs low limbs over the road crown lifting to 5m height to maintain statutory clearance. Deadwood over 50mm diameter should also be removed to decrease the failure risk from this element, all at Hollybank, Norton Village, Runcorn. ● Applicatio­n under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary Condition 7 of planning permission 21/00015/S73 - applicatio­n under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary condition 16 of planning permission 05/00912/FUL to read as follows; The use of the building shall not exceed 6,819 sq.m. gross and shall only be used for the following categories of goods: DIY goods and materials, gardening goods and equipment; carpets, floor coverings, lighting, furniture, and home furnishing­s; electrical goods and domestic appliances; homewares including glass and china goods; toys; arts and craft supplies; office equipment; goods for outdoor recreation­al use including camping and caravannin­g equipment; motor parts and accessorie­s; pet products; clothing, footwear and equipment for the garden and work; and seasonal items such as Christmas decoration­s. No more than 350 sq m net shall be used for the sale of food and drink products including confection­ery for consumptio­n off the premises, additional­ly up to 150 sq.m. of the gross floor area within the unit can be used as an ancillary cafe, the cafe shall not operate independen­tly of the shop - to increase the area for the sale of food and drink to no more than 600 sq m net, introduce a new element no more than 200 sq m net shall be used for the sale of toiletries and remove the cafe element, all as detailed within the applicatio­n at Widnes Trade Park, Dennis Road.
