Plant fair makes return

GARDENING fans could be in for a treat with the return of the Plant Hunters Fairs to Norton Priory in Runcorn.

As well as specialist nurseries, buyers will also be able to garner advice from sellers.

The plant fair will be held outdoors next to the Georgian Walled Garden.

Entry is £1 and tickets must be pre-purchased.

There is free parking in the museum car park.

Martin Blow of Plant Hunters Fairs said: “We are really looking forward to returning to this wonderful venue.

“There will be a brilliant line-up of specialist nurseries attending with a great mix of plants and specialiti­es to delight plant lovers of every level of experience and these enthusiast­ic plants people are on hand to give straightfo­rward advice on choosing and growing the right plants for your garden.

“Now’s the time to pick out some perfect plants to keep the colour going right through the season and where better to find them than at this great event.

“So, whether it’s beefriendl­y perennials, shrubs, plants for shade, herbs, variegated or foliage plants you are sure to find something to create a blooming brilliant garden.”

The plant fair runs from 9am to 4pm on Sunday, May 22, at Norton Priory on Tudor Road in Manor Park,

Runcorn.
