WHY PRIORITISE THE ROYAL PHOTO ROW?

-

AS THE slaughter of Palestinians by Israeli forces continues, while the UK has the highest taxes

(with absolutely nothing to show for it) in 50 years and there are more people relying on food banks, the best the media (especially the BBC) can headline with is the ‘devastating’ news concerning the post photographic editing of a picture of the Princess of Wales and her children posing for a family photo!

Do people really care if the little girl’s sleeve looked a bit too long or if Kate’s fingers looked out of place? I know I don’t.

I wonder if it had something to do with the fact that the deputy chairperson of the Tory party had switched parties and is now a Reform UK MP?

I am talking about Lee Anderson.

This obtuse charlatan has been in more parties than Boris Johnson attended when he resided at No 10.

He has become a caricature of the bigoted, misogynistic, straight-talking ‘man of the people’ type of politician.

Personally, I find him offensive and yet, at times, I feel sorry for him as he clutches at straws in the shape of the racist voters and the less educated. God knows there is enough of them floating around.

If this weren’t true you would not have such parties as Reform UK, UKIP and the BNP.

Everybody is allowed an opinion and how they vote is their choice.

For the likes of the BBC to prioritise the royal picture of the Princess of Wales and her children over the damning defection of the deputy Tory chairperson – in an election year – seems too ‘convenient’ to me.

I wonder where Tim Davie’s political preferences lie?
