AM I JUST TOO CONSIDERATE?

- Gregg Brassett, Nottingham

I have been running for five years and love it. Running helps combat depression, which is common in people like me, who have brain

injuries, and it makes me feel proud. However, something grates on me… If I’m ever out walking along a footpath and a runner comes towards me, I move out of the runner’s way. Yet when I go out on a training run and someone comes walking towards me on the footpath, I still find myself the one moving out of the way, either onto the road or up on the grass. Does that make me nice, or a doormat?
