Put all that core stability and gym work to good use by tackling this tricky marathon (closer to 27 miles than 26.2) along the historic Jurassic coast. There’s almost a mile of climb to negotiate along the way, but if the weather is right you’ll be able to enjoy views of Portland, Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight to help keep your mind off the screams coming from your quads.
