Broadly following the path of the River Foyle (and criss-crossing over three of its bridges along the way), this twisty-turny marathon in Derry is one of the jewels in the crown of the Northern Irish racing calendar. While it’s easy on the eye throughout, the best bit is the final section (isn’t it always?) with the finish inside the historic walls of the city centre on Guildhall Square.
