Jo on… injury problems

I've had plantar fasciitis for quite a few months. It's been a stubborn injury; I’ve kept running but have struggled to be able to footstrike properly for a long time. But I feel I’m starting to make some progress. I’m very motivated, as I really want to race on the track in 2018. Like many runners, I’ve experience­d injuries that have lasted a long time; sometimes it feels they will never improve. But I believe that by trying different approaches and by keeping up your fitness in whatever ways that you can, the problem will get better, even if it takes a long time For anyone who’s got a frustratin­g injury, try to stay motivated – you’ll get there in the end.
