Shut­ting my mouth. While run­ning, that is. I’ve been us­ing nose breath­ing specif­i­cally as a way to regulate my pace on easy runs. It’s harder to get oxy­gen in through the nar­row air­ways of the nos­trils, so you can’t go too fast.

The Owler – a half iron­man­dis­tance triathlon. Af­ter get­ting through the lake swim and bike ride, I was look­ing for­ward to the run, only to find my legs had been swapped for wooden planks.
