SAUCONY RIDE ISO

Runner's World (UK) - - Tested Rw Shoe Lab -

PRICE: £ 120 WEIGHT: 282 g ( m), 232 g ( w) HEEL/ TOE DROP: 11 mm ( m), 11 mm ( w) IF and are YOU BOUGHT THE RIDE 10 wondering where version 11 is, this is essentially it. The Ride, a neutral high-mileage shoe, is the latest model in the Saucony range to get the ‘Isofit’ treatment. It’s a dual-layer upper that features a sock-like inner stitched to an outer flexible mesh and is designed to adapt to your foot to give a supersnug fit without pinching. It certainly achieves that, and the shoe was one of the more cushioned on test, but several found the ride far too spongy. If you prefer comfort over speed, this is a good shout; if not, then heed the wise words of tester Steve Bright: ‘I felt like I was running with superluxurious, lightweight, comfy pillows strapped to my feet.’
