RECOVERY READING

- Kit Powney, via email

My friends and I were camping in Scotland back in May. Near the summit of a mountain in Glencoe I fell badly on a rock, landing on my elbow. (I found out I had bruised the bone and torn the ligaments in my elbow.) I haven't been allowed to run since and my recovery is going to be slow. I was gutted, especially as we had planned to do a fell run while we were in Glencoe, but my husband bought me a subscription to Runner’s World to cheer me up. It’s been great reading so many people’s stories about running and I can’t wait to get back out there!
