Hadleigh 2012 Legacy 10K

The ‘legacy’ part of the race name comes from the fact that the venue for this extremely hilly and muddy 10K is the mountain-bike circuit in Hadleigh Country Park, which was used in the London Olympics. The climbs are not for the fainthearted, but there are distant views of the Thames estuary (if you can lift your head up long enough to take them in), the number of people doing comedy banana-skin falls in the mud quite hilarious and the general ‘mucking in together’ vibe is just what you want if you’re looking for an event to kick-start your 2019 mojo.
