Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon

This sumptuous Tudor palace was one of King Henry VIII’s favourite places. (Fun fact: five of Henry’s six weddings took place in a little over 10 years; his first marriage, to Katherine of Aragon, lasted more than 20. Feel free to delight and/or bore your friends with that nugget.) There are lots of attractions at Hampton Court, including a hedge maze and, rather improbably, the world’s largest grapevine – and, of course, this race takes you along the banks of the Thames.
