Tiree 10K & Half Marathon

It’s not easy to get to the Inner Hebrides island of Tiree (the ferry crossing from Oban takes four hours) but the trek is definitely worth the effort. The whole island (population 650) pitches in to make these two events quite unforgettable. Both races start on the beach, with the first kilometre on packed sand, and they promise undulating but quick routes.
