The lockdown has played havoc with the race schedule. RW talks to two race directors with different experiences of event cancellations
THE POSTPONEMENT OF the London Marathon and other major events grabbed most of the race-related headlines recently, but the thousands of avid amateur runners across the country were keenly aware there was a lot more going on in the race calendar. Race organisers have been frantically trying to reorganise and reschedule their events while keeping their heads above water – and they have been taking a number of approaches to do so.
