What’s the single biggest thing you’d like to achieve as mayor? To see more women from a BAME background running, as this demographic tends to have a lower participation in sport. What qualities does a good running mayor need? To be a champion of change, good at bringing people together and determined to make a difference. Which leader most inspires you and why? I believe it’s those around us who inspire us the most – our parents, our friends and families. We can aspire to be better versions of ourselves by connecting to those closest to us. What do you love most about running? How it brings together people from all walks of life to create a community.
