27K Canal Side Dash Todmorden

In a hilly part of the country, following a canal is a pretty good way to make sure you avoid the worst of the lumps and bumps – and we especially admire how the organisers optimistically describe a 27km race as a ‘dash’. For us, it’d more of a ‘shuffle’, or a ‘crawl’, or maybe a ‘shamble’. Whatever word best describes how you run long distances, you’ll get to enjoy many pretty Yorkshire stone houses, barges, locks, bridges and probably quite a few cute ducks during this midweek evening event.
