Full throttle for Statham

Jason Statham is getting revved up to once again take on Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and friends after confirming his return to villainous duties in Fast & Furious 8.

The Englishman (pictured right) will bring evil Deckard Shaw back to the adrenaline-fuelled franchise, saying: “It’s nice to know I’m doing another”.

Also returning to a blockbuster role is William Hurt, with the 65-year-old set to reprise his gruff General Thadeus Ross character — last seen in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk — in next year’s Captain America: Civil War.
