Summer is in full swing with Rutherglen and Cambuslang’s Project 31.

The local children and families’project, who are now based on Hamilton Road in Rutherglen, have a full programme over the summer holidays with something to keep everyone happy.

All of their activities are suitable for children aged from zero-12 years and are totally free of charge.

The programme of nearly 80 sessions includes family fun, early escapades and pop up play.

Session locations include Overtoun and Cambuslang Parks, Stonelaw and Holmhills Woods and the Springhall, Westburn and Burnhill playparks.

A range of play, arts and sports activities will be available and a number of events such as National Play Day and International Mud Day will be celebrated.

Also on offer this summer are forest school taster sessions and week-long courses which take place in the Project’s Forest School sites at Holmhills and Cambuslang Park.

Project 31 manager Lorna Bamford said: “We’re looking forward to a brilliant summer of activity with everything from outdoor yoga, football and a forest school session to celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday!

“As always, our activities are totally free of charge making them accessible to all so we’re hoping to see lots of new families coming along, as well as lots of regular Project 31 friends.”
