Meet the woman behind the brushes

Laura has loved make-up since she could sing the colours of the rainbow.

And years of hard work, blood, sweat and colourful tears finally culminated in the launch of Laura Dawson Make-Up. From photoshoots with big name glossy bridal magazines to making real-life brides glow with health and beauty on their big day, Laura’s magic touch has worked wonders on faces around the country. From extravagant weddings in top venues, to smaller, intimate affairs, Laura has helped brides put their best face forward.

Some of the faces have even been famous … she recently gave the doyenne of baking Mary Berry that extra glow during a visit to town!

And Laura’s not just a pretty face. She was also recognised by the best in the business with a make-up artist of the year nomination in the Vows Award 2014.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry under her brush belt, which included time honing her skills with some of the world’s biggest cosmetic giants including MAC and Chanel, Laura’s passion is being able to provide the “wow”factor in everyday life. To make every woman feel a million bucks when she walks out the door, to make every woman feel her very best ... that moment, when you turn, catch your breath and see yourself reflected, as you dreamt you would be…….’Your absolute best.’
