Clyde Gateway install superfast broadband

-

Clyde Gateway has developed another incentive to entice businesses to Rutherglen.

The regeneration company, which aims to grow the Rutherglen economy with investment in infrastructure, has installed superfast broadband at its Red Tree Business Suites.

It has become the only serviced office in South Lanarkshire to offer tenants a 1GB fibre connection with failover. This means that should one network fail, the internet connection will automatically flip to another.

A spokesman for Clyde Gateway said:“We understand that a company’s ability to do business at our centres depends on a fast, secure and reliable connection to the internet and that their customers need to be able to reach them from the moment they move in.

“Our investment in the internet and telecoms networks enables businesses to get started straight away, without unnecessary costly expenditure on IT systems, connectivity and telephone connections.

“With minimum 1GB circuits giving 1:1 symmetrical bandwidth into every building, our centres have the robust, high quality internet connection needed to safeguard businesses and ensure their service is reliable and resilient.”

A number of businesses are already operating from the Red Tree Business Suites, but two are currently vacant - one at 392 sq ft and the second 3,579 sq ft.

The suites, at 24 Stonelaw Road, also include a bookable meeting room, communal kitchen, male, female and accessible toilets, lift access to first floor and private car parking spaces.

“Additional permit parking is also available.”
