YouTube video marks firm’s 20th anniversary
A Rutherglen company have marked two decades in business in a unique style.
PTS Clean are based in Thomson Court and decided to celebrate their 20th anniversary by uploading a YouTube video that features plenty of memories over the years as well as some sillier moments - including staff members showing off their dancing shoes.
Gary Hosie, the sales director of the family run business, believes it was a different way of marking the anniversary.
He said: “It was just a wee bit of light humour.
“We just wanted to bring a bit of humour and personalty into things.
“A lot of customers know the humour that we have there and we’ve brought it together.
“We’ve already had some feedback from customers saying they didn’t know that we could dance and things like that!”
The 20th anniversary has brought back a lot of memories for Gary and the rest of the PTS Clean company.
He added: “We were looking through a lot of the old photos and it brings up the progression that we’ve had. It’s been funny.
“The first place we had was on Millcroft Road, almost a massive hut, and that’s been demolished now.
“When you think back to those days and the company starting out and it’s just totally different.”
One major moment for the company was the move to new premises on Thomson Court, which took place two years ago.
“When we moved to the brand new premises that’s been a big boost, giving us things like a showroom and boardroom that we would never have had when we first started out.
“The service has always been the same though, it’s all been about dealing with the customers.”
“It’s been a family run business and we’re on the second generation now, and hopefully the third generation will take it into another 20 years! “
