Last year’s smash-hit comedy Gone But Not Forgotten returns for a two night run on February 21 and 22.

The tale of a family gathering for the funeral of a womanising, unfaithful husband was hugely popular when previously performed.

Also returning is South Lanarkshir­e Comic Con, which will bring superheroe­s, cosplay contests and comics creators to Rutherglen on February 24.

A tribute to music legend Johnny Cash arrives on Thursday, March 8, with Hello, I’m Johnny Cash.

And music of a different variety arrives two nights later, when Scottish Opera present a selection of bite-sized opera highlights that should appeal to both long time devotees and opera novices.

The Young at Heart Ceilidh will take place on Saturday, March 17, with the chance to take part in plenty of well known dances. Then trained classical guitarist Marco Ramelli will perform on Wednesday, March 21, giving a free afternoon concert.

Another batch of musical memories will take place on Thursday, March 22, with the New Jersey Boys show.

This takes the audience on a musical journey through the career of one of the biggest selling groups of all time –Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Contempora­ry Gaelic singer Maeve Mackinnon releases her third studio album STRI :RESISTANCE later this year, and she will perform songs from it at the Town Hall on March 23.

On March 29 the King is back, as Absolute Elvis arrives with some hip swivelling rock n’ roll.

Hotel California will provide a trip through The Eagles greatest hits, with a focus on the Long Road Out of Eden album on April 7.

There is entertainm­ent for families on April 10 with One Man Shoe, centred around a bumbling caretaker.

The following day sees another puppet show, Owl and the Pussycat, while the popular baby disco Rusk takes place on April 21.

From babies to the older generation, and All Our Yesterdays will bring back plenty of memories on April 24.

It is a musical voyage through the 50s, 60s and 70s, with classic songs, plus costumes and choreograp­hy.

Then it is time to get into the swing of things, as the Memphis Belles are in town on April 26.

Their Big Swing show has costumes, dance routines and lots of old favourites.

The always popular Girl’s Night Oot returns on May 4, as a group of women on a hen night have a good time, aided by some songs that will get everyone moving.

One of Scotland’s favourite funnymen, Fred McAuley, will make 30 years of making people laugh with a show on May 25.

A double-header on June 1 presents Acoustic Mac and Acoustic Sting.

As the name suggests, it is a stripped back look through the careers of Fleetwood Mac and former Police frontman Sting.

More classic rock’n roll follows later in the month with Roy Orbison and the Travelling Wilburys Experience, featuring tributes to Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan.

And, of course, the ever popular Tea Dances will continue as well.

They will run every Thursday, with the next one taking place on January 18.
