Planning applications
Eleven householders in Rutherglen and Cambuslang were given planning permission to make big changes to their properties.
South Lanarkshire Council planning chiefs approved the following applications between October 8 and 19:
Ayesha Saaed, McCallum Avenue, Rutherglen: listed building consent for installation of replacement windows.
T Kelly, Wellshot Drive, Cambuslang: installation of UPVC windows.
●Audrey Paton, Richmond Drive: conversion of basement to habitable accommodation and formation of roof terrace.
●John Gorman Properties, Colebrooke Street, Cambuslang: demolition of garage and erection of single storey, pitched roof extension.
John and Flora Kennedy, Gloucester Avenue, Rutherglen: erection of single storey rear extension to form enlarged kitchen.
Douglas Cameron, land south-west of Glasgow Road, Rutherglen: erection of freestanding internally-illuminated sign.
●John Hamilton, Milrig Road, Rutherglen: erection of single storey side extension.
Stephen and Jennifer Boyle, Kingsburn Grove, Rutherglen: erection of single storey front, side and rear extension and raised rear decking.
Kelly Conaghan, East Greenlees Drive, Cambuslang: erection of single storey side and rear extension, front porch, garden outbuilding and alterations to the garden ground levels with associated alterations.
●Alan Miller, Red Deer Road, Cambuslang: conversion of integral double garage to form habitable room.
Lewis Hawthorn, Honeysuckle Drive, Cambuslang: conversion of integral garage to form habitable accommodation.
Two new planning applications have also been recently submitted.
Sheet Anchor Investments Ltd, are looking to reconfigure the shopfront of Unit 9, Main Street, Cambuslang. Mr G Waugh has applied to erect a single storey side extension to his house in County Avenue, Cambuslang.
