Jersey boys and girls raise cash for charity
A group of Cambuslang businesses were feeling full of Christmas spirit last week.
Several Main Street shops were spreading cheer after donning festive jumpers.
They were also raising money for Westburn Youth Club, and Angeline Coyle, of the Teabay cafe, felt the day had been a fun experience.
She said: “These are all good businesses and we wanted to have a bit of fun for Christmas.
“We’ve still to check the final amount for Westburn but there were plenty of donations too.”
Taking part in the day were Co-op Funeral Care, Century 21, Classy Chicks,Finlay’s Pub, Pandora’s Box, the Tea Bay and Mary Brogan Flowers
Also popping by on the day was Clare Haughey MSP and Rutherglen councillor Janine Calikes, while passing local resident Gordon Hayes got involved in the fun too.
