Burn­side Blair­beth Church hold Messy Church on the first Satur­day of ev­ery month.

It starts with an hour of crafts and games, fol­lowed by a cel­e­bra­tion with a Bi­ble story and singing, fin­ish­ing with a two-course meal and will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Chil­dren’s club Jump takes place in the Blair­beth build­ing on a Wed­nes­day evening from 6-7.30pm for chil­dren in P1-P7. St Cadoc’s an­nual crib ap­peal boxes are avail­able at the back of the church to help sup­port St Mar­garet’s Chil­dren and Fam­ily Care So­ci­ety.

It would be help­ful if all boxes could be re­turned by Jan­uary 27 to en­able con­tri­bu­tions to be sent off to St Mar­garet’s Adop­tion Chil­dren and Fam­ily Care So­ci­ety. God Tock con­tin­ues ev­ery Mon­day at 7pm at King’s Park Par­ish Church.

A prayer group meet there on Tues­day morn­ings and on Wed­nes­day evenings.

Their de­men­tia cafe meet on the last Fri­day of ev­ery month, 10.30am un­til noon. Castlemilk Par­ish Church hold com­mu­nity meals on the third Fri­day of the month. The Fit­ness Fol­lies keep fit group at Fern­hill and Cathkin Church meets ev­ery Wed­nes­day at 10.30am.

On Thurs­day at 10am the Knit and Nat­ter group meets in the ses­sion room.

The church hold Messy Stonelaw Par­ish Church’s Cafe @ The Meet­ing Place is open Mon­day to Satur­day from 10.30am un­til 12.30pm.

The church will also con­tinue with their monthly 30 minute ser­vices.

They usu­ally take place on the first Wed­nes­day of each month but the Jan­uary ser­vice will take place one week later on Wed­nes­day, Jan­uary 9.

These are aimed at peo­ple who do not or can­not at­tend Sun­day ser­vices.

Tea and cof­fee are avail­able, along with home bak­ing and a sec­ond-hand book stall.

The church’s Tues­day Chat group meet ev­ery fort­night at 7.30pm. Croft­foot Par­ish Church hold their Re­fresh classes ev­ery Fri­day from 2pm un­til 4pm.
