Burnside Blairbeth Church hold Messy Church on the first Saturday of every month.

It starts with an hour of crafts and games, followed by a celebratio­n with a Bible story and singing, finishing with a two-course meal and will run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Children’s club Jump takes place in the Blairbeth building on a Wednesday evening from 6-7.30pm for children in P1-P7. St Cadoc’s annual crib appeal boxes are available at the back of the church to help support St Margaret’s Children and Family Care Society.

It would be helpful if all boxes could be returned by January 27 to enable contributi­ons to be sent off to St Margaret’s Adoption Children and Family Care Society. God Tock continues every Monday at 7pm at King’s Park Parish Church.

A prayer group meet there on Tuesday mornings and on Wednesday evenings.

Their dementia cafe meet on the last Friday of every month, 10.30am until noon. Castlemilk Parish Church hold community meals on the third Friday of the month. The Fitness Follies keep fit group at Fernhill and Cathkin Church meets every Wednesday at 10.30am.

On Thursday at 10am the Knit and Natter group meets in the session room.

The church hold Messy Stonelaw Parish Church’s Cafe @ The Meeting Place is open Monday to Saturday from 10.30am until 12.30pm.

The church will also continue with their monthly 30 minute services.

They usually take place on the first Wednesday of each month but the January service will take place one week later on Wednesday, January 9.

These are aimed at people who do not or cannot attend Sunday services.

Tea and coffee are available, along with home baking and a second-hand book stall.

The church’s Tuesday Chat group meet every fortnight at 7.30pm. Croftfoot Parish Church hold their Refresh classes every Friday from 2pm until 4pm.
