Dates: Saturday 30 July – Friday 5 August

Times: Racing from 10am daily

Entry: You can enter on a ‘daily’ or ‘whole regatta’ basis via cowesweek.co.uk. Enter before Friday 22 July to avoid late entry charges.

Sailing Instructio­ns: Available online from 22 July – make time to read them carefully!

Remember: All entrants or their representa­tives must register in person at the Regatta Centre (18 Bath Road, behind the Bandstand on Cowes Parade) before the end of their protest time limit on the day of their first race.

Special trophies: As well as daily, class and group prizes, boats can enter for a number of special trophies, including Musto Young Skipper’s Trophy (U25s), Newcomers Trophy, Ariel Trophy for Best Female Helm and Mermaid Trophy for best all-female crew on Women’s Day (2 August), Britannia Salver for sportsmans­hip, and the Sailing Today Trophy for the best performanc­e cruiser.

Spectators: Non-sailors should head to the Royal Yacht Squadron for the best vantage point of the racing, or of course, get afloat! RIB rides and Spectator Boat Tours are bookable via cowesweek.co.uk. Tune in to Cowes Week Radio for race action commentary.

Party time: See cowesweek.co.uk for full shoreside programme, which in cludes the not-to-be-missed Opening Party with DJ Mark Covell on the decks, as well as the overall prize-giving on Friday 5 August.

Look out for: Water filling stations and improved waste recycling around the town – part of the regatta’s sustainabi­lity programme, run in partnershi­p with Sailors for the Sea, Clean Seas and The Green Blue.

O cial charity partners: Jubilee Sailing Trust will have it’s 65m tall ship S/V Tenacious at the regatta – not competing! – and sailors from the Scaramouch­e Sailing Trust will be in action on the water.
