Scootering

All or Nothing – one man’s passion.

Inspired by hit musical All or Nothing, Owen had his scooter wrapped in artwork and displayed at the London venue.

We asked Owen to tell us a bit more about how this scooter evolved and he said: “The last scooter I bought was fine but it didn’t have much character. I wanted something that had history and looked good. The scooter I was looking for literally had to have it all or nothing... mirrors, lights and character.” At the beginning of the year he found a scooter which was perfect; lights, mirrors and other accessories. Owen said: “When I went to look at it, the pictures didn’t do it justice.” The owner, Frank Bacon, had put the lights, mirrors and other accessories on, which he had collected over the years. Sadly though he had had to give up riding due to arthritis. Owen bought the scooter and promised he would look after it and stay in touch. On seeing the All or Nothing show at The Vaults in London, Owen asked if they would mind him making an All or Nothing scooter. The official photographer happily supplied the pictures. Owen said: “I contacted Creative FX and they took on

Ethe job to wrap my scooter. The new seat has been covered by PK Trim.Ithen contacted CarolHarrison to see if they would be interested in displaying my scooter at the show in Southend. They accepted and the scooter was displayed there. It was a great success; people were having pictures taken, and were genuinely interested in it. “At the end of the show, the cast joined me and fellow club members for a photo. I then came up with the idea of the cast signing the scooter.” Owen explained: “I belong to The Collective SC in Essex, and have been on many rallies showing off the scooter. It always receives great interest from the public while out with the club. “Personally, I am very proud of it and have offered the All or Nothing show use of it at any time. The whole cast of the show are all friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend it to anyone. You may even see my scooter there if you are lucky.”
