Name: Sam Wileman (a.k.a. ‘Mrs Cad’) Job: Company secretary Scooter club & town: White Lions S.C., Swadlincote, Derbyshire First became interested in scooters:

I was approximately 15 years old. I used to hang around with older friends who already owned scooters and were into the scene, and used to ride up and down past the local arcade, where as teenagers we hung out. My older brother was a big fan of The Clash and punk music, so I was always forced to listen to it at home as a teenager

First scooter: I wasn’t fortunate enough to own my own scooter until 2001, which was an orange Lambretta GP and I still own it to this day Favourite scooter model: Lambretta GP and Vespa small-frame First rally or event: Great Yarmouth 1992 Favourite and worst rally/event:

Every rally is unique from venue to location, so I wouldn’t say any have been bad. Favourite rally was Brewers Droop in the 2000s when a group of us, had Christmas day with all trimmings in mid-summer! Funniest experience with a scooter:

Being dressed as Mrs Claus in the middle of summer and jumping on the back of my mate Jimmy Jazz’s scooter to fetch last min roast spuds for our Xmas dinner What do you like about rallies/events:

Seeing mates, meeting new likeminded people, watching the bands, checking out the scoots and the smell of 2-stroke Favourite Scootering Magazine feature:

Show us your scoots Your favourite custom/featured scooter of all time: My mate Ferdy, from Ashby – Insane What’s the most useless part you’ve ever bought for one of your scooters:

Non-flammable paint for my exhaust that turned out to be flammable!
