Trivia and titbits you may have missed from elsewhere

Scooterist Michael Green would like to reinstate the DL/GP register started by Preston Hall a number of years ago. He has spoken with Pete Davies at British Lambretta Archive and he is happy for the register to sit on the BLA website which is safe, secure and accessible to everyone. HOW IT WORKS To register, you need to send Michael details of your scooter via email; he will then transfer your details on to the register and then your email will be deleted. Once there are a certain number of entries, the register will then be updated and sent to Pete for it to be placed on the BLA website. The register can be updated as new entries are made.

Michael has been in touch with Preston about his original register and he has told him that a related page which appeared on Facebook recently was an update for the original register and there were many more entries received, but he no longer has the details. Preston also said that he is happy for Michael to resurrect the register. STARTING OVER Michael is intending to start the register again from scratch in order to avoid the chance of any repetition; in doing so, he has added three additional columns (toolbox grey/black; 6v/12v; on/off the road) – an example of how the new register will work can be seen in the accompanying picture so you can see how it will look. A USEFUL RECORD

The register is intended to build up an interesting and useful record for everyone to share. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS REGISTER

IS ONLY FOR INNOCENTI MODELS. For security reasons you can choose to omit the last two numbers of your frame in order to prevent any fraud attempts. POINT OF CONTACT Michael can be reached via email at michaelpd.green@live.co.uk – all you have to do is just add the details that match the columns on the register.
