Name: Connah Anslow.

Job: Self-employed vehicle valeter.

Scooter club & town: Muttafuckas, Burntwood, Staffs.

Favourite scooter model: Mk1 Vespa T5. First ever rally: Burton Brewers.

How did you get there: Vespa PX125. Funniest experience involving scooters: It was a cold wet morning when me and my mate Shaun set off to Burton Brewers. We never got any further than a mile from home due to gear cable issues. When we eventually arrived (in the car) about two hours later, we saw the grand total of about five people, took a look around and returned back to Burntwood!

Furthest you’ve ever ridden on a scooter: Jesters (Leek).

What do you like about rallies: I enjoy meeting up with mates, seeing a wide variety of other scooters and above all the sweet smell of two-stroke!

What do you dislike about rallies: People criticising each other's scooters and those who think they know it all!

Favourite Scootering magazine feature: Evelyn – Custom Lambretta Series 1 street racer.

Favourite custom scooter of all time: This is the Life – custom street racer Vespa.

Your most recommended scooter part or related item: Temperature gauge and a good set of tyres.

Your most recommended scooter security item: Tracker, disc lock and a decent chain with a good quality padlock.

Which insurer do you recommend: BikeSure. Which breakdown company do you recommend: RAC.

Most useless part you’ve ever bought for a scooter: Metal dust caps that weld themselves to the valves.

Favourite scooter dealer: Dave Stone at Super Deluxe Scooter Parts, highly recommended.
