SIP OPEN DAY

-

It’s been 30 years since SIP Scootershop was founded by Alex and Ralf, who now invite everyone to a birthday party that’s guaranteed to be memorable.

From working out of a garage, storing parcels between Alex’s father’s beehives and taking the parcels to the post office on a Vespa, SIP has grown into one of the largest suppliers of scooter parts in the world. Now based in a state-of-the-art facility on the outskirts of the beautiful Bavarian town of Landsberg am Lecht, the SIP team is proud to welcome everyone to the birthday party on Saturday, May 18.

Attractions include crispy pizza from the wood-fired ape, food and drink from SIP’s Italian Siperia cafe bar, parts and used scooter market, official trial sport run of the Vespa Club of Germany, performance measurements on a calibrated P4 Amerschläger dyno for a voluntary donation of €10 (who can break the horsepower record?), photowall for all visitors, guided tours through logistics and administration, bouncy castle for children, stands from the Vespa Cowboys, Vespa Club Munich, Vespa Club of Germany and trade stands from Bitubo, Dunlop, EGIG, RON Scooters and of course, Scootering magazine.

On Saturday evening there’ll be a soul allnighter in the beautiful cellar vault of Landsberg’s Moritz Club with soul DJ legends Harry and Schmidl from Ried im Innkreis (Austria). It’s only a short hop in a rented car from Munich Airport so even if you can’t ride all the way there’s no excuse for missing what promises to be a legendary celebration.
