Price freeze

EDF Energy has launched the cheapest longest fixed tariff on the market.

Its new Price Freeeeze tariff will protect customers against future price hikes for four winters and costs an average £1,340 a year — £1 cheaper than npower’s top Price Protector tariff, which is also fixed until March 2017.

Neither deal charges an early exit fee.
