Footsie’s allure

A BOSTON-based firm with close links to US military technology has listed on the London Stock Exchange in another sign of the Square Mile’s allure.

Allied Minds, which is valued at £400m, specialises in taking research and development projects and turning them into commercially viable schemes. It has access to the US government’s military research department, as well as taking other scientific discoveries from universities and other Government bodies.

Shares were flat at 190p.
