JULY 1, 1961 The 16-year-old launches a sexual attack on Catherine Reehill, seven, then kills her by strangulation and throwing her body down stairs. He serves less than seven years for culpable homicide.

AUGUST 5, 1977 Anna Kenny goes missing after a night out in Glasgow. Her body is discovered 21 months later on the Kintyre peninsula, bound at the ankles and with a ligature around her neck. Sinclair is now the prime suspect.
OCTOBER 1, 1977 Hilda McAulay is last seen leaving the Plaza Ballroom in Glasgow’s Eglinton Toll. Bramble pickers find her body, battered, half-naked and with hands bound, 1 miles away in Lanarkshire the next day. Sinclair is now the prime suspect.
OCTOBER 15, 1977 Christine Eadie and Helen Scott are last seen leaving the World’s End pub in Edinburgh. They are discovered murdered the following day. It is 37 years before Sinclair is convicted of the crime.
DECEMBER 2, 1977 Agnes Cooney disappears on her way home from a night out in Glagsow’s south side. Her body is found in Lanarkshire two days later. Her hands are tied and she has been stabbed 2 times. Sinclair is now the prime suspect.
NOVEMBER 19, 1978 Mary Gallacher goes missing in Glasgow’s Springburn. Her body is discovered the next day in the same area. Her trousers have been used as a ligature and her throat has been slashed three times. Sinclair is finally convicted of her murder in 2001.
JULY 30, 1979 Eddie Cotogno is found battered to death in his Glasgow tenement flat. His body is covered with nude photographs of women which he had taken. His friend Angus Sinclair is later identified as a possible suspect.
SEPTEMBER 1982 Sinclair is jailed for life after being convicted of three rapes and nine sexual assaults on young girls.
