Ladette returns ... portrait of Strictly’s Zoe Ball at 3am!

- By Sam Creighton

AS the credits rolled at 8:30pm, she looked every inch the glamorous Strictly Come Dancing host.

But once the show was over, Zoe Ball was ready to let her hair down – and by 3am, the former ladette was spotted looking a little less ladylike.

The 43-year- old presenter, who is standing in for Claudia Winkleman while her daughter recovers from an accident, joined the rest of the Strictly team at a club called Rumours after the show was broadcast live from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. The night out

‘Can’t handle the hangovers’

marked a much-needed break for Miss Ball – who still hosts weekday spin-off It Takes Two, as well as taking on Strictly co-presenting duties.

Judging from her smudged make-up and slightly dazed look, she seemed to be making the most of her return to the town where she was born.

Despite being slightly unsteady on her feet, she appeared to be in good spirits, winking and sticking her tongue out at photographers before getting in a taxi at the end of the night.

Miss Ball was not the only Strictly star to let off some steam. Pixie Lott was pictured leaving the club arm-in-arm with her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire, and reality TV star Mark Wright jumped on top of children’s presenter Steve Backshall – who ended up giving him a piggyback along the street.

Miss Ball was once known for her hard-partying lifestyle, but has been teetotal for the past six years. However last month she revealed that she is once again enjoying the occasional drink, although she can no longer ‘handle the hangovers’.

The mother-of-two said: ‘I have the odd one. But now I think moderation in everything.’
