THE new revelations about Audrey Hepburn’s private life – she was desperately in love with her married Sabrina co-star Bill Holden, who refused to leave his wife for her – throw a different light on one of the most adored women of the 20th century. Beautiful, gracious and kind, Hepburn has sailed close to sainthood status in recent years. It is somehow heartening, then, to know that even this most perfect of women was herself flawed.
