Oldest barmaid dies aged 100
DOLLY Saville, the world’s oldest working barmaid, has died just two months away from her 101st birthday.
The great-great grandmother, pictured, pulled pints at the Red Lion Hotel in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, for 74 years. In that time she served more than two million drinks. When she started in 1940, a pint cost just eight old pence.
Until six years ago she was still working at least six hours a day, six days a week and only ever had two weeks off sick in her entire life.
