INVERNESS SIGN NIGERIAN STRIKER

-

INVERNESS Caley Thistle have sprung a surprise by signing Nigerian international striker Edward Ofere until the end of the season. Caley Thistle boss John Hughes has been seeking a replacement for Billy McKay and seemed to have narrowed the choice down to former Middlesbrough striker Tarmo Kink and Dutch forward Prince Rajcomar, after saying both had impressed on trial. But he has now signed Ofere — subject to international clearance. The 28-year-old has previously played for Malmo in Sweden and Lecce in Italy.
