TAKING CHANCES: SHOW A BIT MORE COMPOSURE

-

Scotland have created 10 clear-cut scoring opportunities in two games. The problem is that they have only converted three of those into tries. When you consider they lost to France by seven points and to Wales by three, it would only have needed a couple of these chances to be taken and Scotland would be sitting with two wins under their belt. They have made 12 clean breaks in the two games — probably more than they achieved in the whole of last year’s Six Nations — but what they have lacked is the composure and execution to turns these breaks into tries.
