EXCELLENTLY paced and convincingly cast, this film version of the Sixties TV series stars Harrison Ford as the doctor wrongly convicted of his wife’s murder. Going on the run to prove his innocence, he is pursued by Tommy Lee Jones’s firm but fair U.S. Marshal.

What Just Happened, 12.50am, BBC1

BRUCE WILLIS’S unwanted facial hair is just one of the challenges facing Hollywood producer Ben (Robert De Niro, pictured with Moon Bloodgood) in this satire based on the memoirs of Art Linson. It’s great to see De Niro in a role worthy of his talents, as he moves from one outrageous or bizarre calamity to another.
