Shoplifting ruins lives

A LABOUR MP thinks it’s a good idea to treat shoplifters more leniently than ‘real criminals’ (Mail).

I was manager of two stores where stealing became so bad that the owners decided to shut up shop because they couldn’t carry on losing up to £1,000 per store, per month and 30 staff lost their jobs.
