Tories use choc tactics with jibe at Salmond

So it perhaps unsurprising that Alex Salmond actually welcomed the latest Tory billboard poster of him as a pickpocket, which warns: ‘Don’t let the SNP grab your cash.’ However, it was not the message he relished, more the portrayal of his appearance. ‘I actually thought I looked – remem- ber the man in the Black Magic adverts all these years ago – debonair, dashing, dressed in black,’ he told Sky News. Perhaps he was grateful for the slimming colour, as he has piled on weight since ditching his diet.
