The bathroom shelf snoopers
IT’S furtive, nosy, and a little bit embarrassing – and more women have done it than you think.
A survey has revealed that four out of ten have snooped around a friend’s bathroom cabinet.
And one in 20 has even been cheeky enough to take something from someone else’s cupboard for their own use.
The study of 2,000 women, commissioned by bathroom brand Bloo, also found a third have peeked in a potential boyfriend’s cabinet to search for female-related products – a sure sign of another woman on the scene.
Excuses given for snooping included sussing out how vain a potential partner is, finding out about someone else’s beauty regime and looking for clues about their health or love life.
Unsurprisingly, the research also found that two-thirds of women would describe themselves as nosy.
