Beyonce’s videos are like porn, says Paloma

BEYONCE is the most powerful woman in pop, but the American star has been accused of setting a bad example with videos so racy they resemble porn films.

Singer Paloma Faith says: ‘She doesn’t need to do it because she’s so exceptional. For me, “girl power” is about intellect, ambition, drive, compassion, empathy, sensuality. Not, like, the size of your a***.’

Rihanna is in Paloma’s firing line, too, for a video in which she acts suggestively with a banana ‘and had a man on a lead.’

But what about Paloma herself (right)? Her shirt comes off before she sings a note in one video and she appears starkers in another. Those are fine, she says, because she’s ‘taken ownership over [her] sexuality and used it as a metaphor’. That’s all right then.
