AGE TEST

-

Here’s a little test for you above a certain age And if you don’t do very well don’t fly into a rage! Sometimes as we’re getting on our life becomes unclear. So full of many changes of the things that we hold dear. Do you often moan loudly about pop music and dust? Are you wary now of strangers, think there’s no one left to trust? Are you sticking to the same routine from Monday through to Friday? Have you ever said the dreaded words ‘Things weren’t like that in my day’? Do you cast a disapproving eye at lovers on TV? Do you moan about the saucy bits they show on BBC? When catching your reflection in a window passing by Do you see a grumpy lady with frustration in her eye? Do you spend a little too much time discussing aches and pains? Do you moan about the weather when it’s hot and when it rains? If four or five of all these things apply to your behaviour You need some sound advice my dear. Indeed you need a saviour! It’s not easy being a mother or a grandma or a wife When sometimes you get the feeling you’ve been left behind by life. Patience is a virtue and tolerance an art. It takes a lot of practice staying young at heart. So move a little with the times to make the journey easier. Greet each day with open arms and step a little breezier. Everything that’s gone before has made you who you are. So remember that you’re special, a diamond and a star! When looking in the mirror give yourself a great big smile And pat yourself upon the back for going the extra mile. Looking after others in everything you do. Put your hands together for the one and only YOU! Roxina Stone,
