THIS daft buddy-cop comedy is one of the highest-grossing martial arts movies ever, and it’s easy to see why, given the relaxed chemistry between stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Enjoyable, knockabout stuff, about chalk-andcheese cops on the trail of a mysterious mob boss in LA.

Focusing on her time in the bohemian Paris of the Twenties and Thirties, it foreground­s the fact that, despite her contributi­on to literature, she is still better known for her salacious personal life.

STORYVILLE Circus Elephant Rampage, 9pm, BBC4

A TABLOID title for an otherwise considered documentar­y telling the tragic story of Tyke, a circus elephant that killed a trainer and injured spectators in Honolulu in 1994. She isn’t painted as simply a villain or a martyr; instead, Tyke emerges as a creature surrounded by humans who felt a deep connection with her.
