Looking like JR, it’s hats off to celebrity chef GR!

HE has regularly been accused of shamelessly stealing his fashion cues from close friend David Beckham.

But it would appear Gordon Ramsay is not exactly averse to copying other celebrities when it comes to looking decidedly dapper.

The celebrity chef cut a definite dash earlier this week when he hosted the latest episode of the American version of MasterChef.

Sporting a cowboy hat, he looked more l i ke f ormer Dallas villain JR Ewing, played by t he l ate Larry Hagman, pictured, as the culinary challenge headed outdoors into the Wild West.

Dressed in double denim, the fiery Scot looked every inch the sheriff as he put the contestants through their paces by trying to fix up suitable dishes for hungry cowboys.

Earlier this month, the chef flew his family to Los Angeles, where he has a growing number of filming commitments with Fox Broadcasting.

The 48-year-old wore a nautical-themed black and white striped top, jeans and trainers, which had been sported by the former England footballer days before.

Well, they do say imitation can be the best form of flattery.
